Did you know God is speaking to us all the time - we just have to tune in?
He is our Creator and as such, he created us to have a relationship with him. He loves to converse with us - to share his heart and to listen as we share ours. He can't stop thinking about me - did you know I'm his favourite? Of course you are too, but that doesn't make me less important or loved, nor you!
So how does he speak? One way is through nature. Did you know that everything in creation is a visual reminder of the nature of God and his promises? From the humble ant who reminds us to be wise and store up food for the winter (ie. to plan for the future) to the majestic sunsets that are a picture of his glory.
What's more - he created all these things for our pleasure. Fancy that - that God created gorgeous yellow daffs to make you happy, and gave each bird their own unique song to lift your spirit as you take a walk!
And how do I know all these things? Because he tells us so in the Bible - his love letter to us and principal method of communication. But you won't find these things unless you look for them - he wants us to seek him. All good things are worth pursuing and are never dumped in your lap. Take time out today to hear from him for yourself - through an aspect of nature like the examples above, or his Word - the Bible. He's gone to great lengths to reveal himself to us - now it's our turn!
