March 27

There's nothing better then a huge warm slab of chocolate cake, covered in cream. Just thinking about it at this very moment is making my mouth water.  I absolutely love it. I'm pretty sure that I could actually have a piece every day and never tire of it. Of course this is only in my opinion. You may  well have tried it and not liked it, but you may never have tried it and therefore you can't agree or disagree with me. now before chocolate cake featured in my life, I didn't  realise I was missing out on anything. My life seemed pretty fantastic without it.  But how wrong I was! Because as soon as I took that first bite, I realised what an unfulfilled life I'd been living. Chocolate cake and cream made life begin to make sense! If you've never tried it, you must! You may think you don't need to bother because you're happy and content, but once you do, you like me I'm sure will realise what you've been missing all these years. Ok, so that's a little over the top, but still there's a truth there somewhere. Often in life we don't know what we are missing out on until we give something a go. Many people often say this is true of God. They didn't realise what they were missing out on until they decide to discover God. Their life seemed fine and content without Him, but then once they began to find out who God was, their life became so different and so much more exciting. Who is God to you? Do you know him? Have you ever tried to discover just who he is? You may think it is a waste of time, and you don't need to bother, but today, can I encourage you to give God a go. Because I know that there is no way I'd want to live my life without the knowledge of God as my closest friend. And you never know, you may find that all these years you've been  missing out on something truly amazing.
