The Psalmist says 'Let everything that has breath - Praise the Lord'. 

Dewsbury Festival of Christian Music brought together an array of highly talented artistes covering a wide spectrum of music and other disciplines, yet united in one purpose - to Glorify the Lord.

Open air event featuring Jason the Amazing, a Christian clown from Leeds.

An afternoon of fun for children aged 4-12 years with Jason and a few little friends!

Worship Seminar with Dave Bilbrough
Dewsbury Minster
(Rishworth Road, Dewsbury)
Those involved in worship ministry will enjoy this session with this highly respected international worship leader. Split into two sessions: 1st hour, Dave will talk on principles of leading worship. 2nd hour, split into 3 groups: Song writing with Dave/vocal technique with Pat (Dave's wife)/small groups with Steve (keyboard player).

Dave Bilbrough - Live & Acoustic
Dewsbury Minster
(Rishworth Road, Dewsbury)
For over two decades Dave has been recognised as one of Britain's foremost worship leaders and songwriters. His songs like All Hail The Lamb and I Am A New Creation are sung in thousands of churches. Dave is in great demand as a worship leader, having ministered throughout the world. This concert, which Dave performed in the West End, is a major departure from his usual large-scale worship events and focuses on much of the material that influenced him in his early music career, including The Beatles, Fats Waller and Paul Simon.

Behold Mime - Steve Murray
Elim / Central Methodist Church
(Daisy Hill, Dewsbury)
This evening promises to be a special time as Steve Murray performs a number of mimes providing a new, thought-provoking angle on the message of Jesus Christ. Steve organises the Behold Mime Ministry based in Chelmsford and has performed throughout the UK and abroad.

Organ Recital by David Hall

David is a local musician and is the resident organist at the URC. His recital will guarantee you have a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon.

St John's Infant School presents 'Cover to Cover'

Once again the Festival is proud to host another world premier musical drama written by local playwright Helen Mason. The school children will be performing a play illustrating the entire 66 books of the Bible.

Formally of Christian duo Simeon and John, John is a highly respected singer/songwriter and worship leader. The evening promises to be a memorable event.
