Someone once said that we live in a state of assumption that the next moment, day, or year will be more important than this one. Thousands of us put things off, claiming we’ll ‘do it tomorrow’. But God wants you to act now. To do the things you never thought you could; things you put off and made excuses for. New Year’s resolutions are so often thought to be productive and life changing when first created, but slowly begin to be put off with excuses and the claim that we’ll ‘do it later’. Don’t be annoyed at yourself for falling behind on things you intended to do, when you had time: Just do them. What is going to be the change this New Year? Are you going to make this year, this day, this moment, count? Identify what is stopping you from following God with all your heart, from putting your trust in Him. Giving up your time for what God wants for you is never a sacrifice, not something you need to make time for. You can give time to God in everything that you do, and more. Make today count.
